"I purchased a 2012 Street Glide and must say,I can not be any happier with my experience at Chesapeake HD. They truly have treated me very well,right from the very beginning of the deal, through the pick up. In fact, the day I rode down to pick up my bike it had stormed,I rode down in the rain and they (Jeff & Kevin,my salesman) were there to greet me when I pulled in the parking lot. They told me to take my time. I had to dump the water out of my boots and wring out my socks!!! Once I went in, Jeff told me to make myself at home,get some coffee and come in his office when I was ready. All transactions went smooth with no surprises,another plus in my book. Kevin went over the bike with me,took me around & introduced me to Bryan in parts and Carla at the register and then saw me off.
Jeff called me later in the week asking me how things were going and told me to ride down and see them. A follow up phone call on Monday came from Kevin, wondering how I was doing with the bike. That's a sign that I look for in a dealership, that they don't forget you after the sale. I feel as though I've found a dealer who I can trust.
Chesapeake HD, you should be proud of your dealership and the people you employ. Other dealers should be taking lessens from you."

"I bought my 2008 Heritage Softail @ Chesapeake in Feb. 2012. While out for a ride I lost use of the clutch. I contacted Kyle in the service dept, who said bring it in and we'll take a look at it. Bruce the service tech got on it right away, said I know what's wrong and fixed it in less than 1/2 hour. Took me longer to drive from Parkville than I was at dealeship. I live less than 5 miles from a H-D dealer but will continue to drive to Chesapeake for all my H-D needs/wants. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

"First off, if I could had rated your dealership a 10, I would have in a heartbeat. My husband and I had driven past Chesapeake H-D many times, one particular day, we decided to stop in. My husband ended up buying a brand new Heritage Softail Classic from JB Bratcher. It would be VERY difficult to write all the words to describe our 'all around' experience while deciding to purchase or not.... We ended up being at the dealership an estimated total of about 4 hours, trying to decide if we really wanted to purchase or not. During that time, JB was very helpful to answer any/all of our questions, left us alone when necessary, did NOT pressure us in any way and gave us an all around good feeling. The good feeling entailed many things: we, as a couple, were making a good decision to purchase, JB is a very knowledgeable and capable sales professional. We were treated kindly by all the other employees as well. Once JB introduced us to Jeff Proctor, the Delivery Manager, Jeff not only took his time in explaining what process we would be going through, he was very patient and extremely thourough with all the details about the finance process. He gave us many options that we, as a couple could decide to accept or decline. Example; Extended Service Plan, Gap Insurance and Debt Protection With NO pressure from Jeff whatsoever, my husband and I chose what we felt was best for us. Jeff was very polite, knowledgeable and didn't hesitate to answer any questions that we threw at him. Once we got all the paperwork complete, we were taken over to the Motor Clothes Department. We were introduced to some wonderful ladies who helped us pick out a couple t-shirts. When it came time for us to take posession of our brand spanking new bike and head for home after a long day, JB wheeled the bike outside. He then proceeded to take more time out of his day and explain to us ALL the many functions, buttons, gauges, etc., on our new Heritage Softail Classic.
What an AWESOME experience from start to finish!! I would (and have!) recommend Chesapeake Harley-Davidson to everyone and anyone who will listen and take my advice. They deserve MANY kudos. "

Thanks to you and the rest of the staff we interacted with, our "report card" to H-D Motor Co. for Chesapeake H-D on our recent purchase will be A+++. You went above and beyond the call of duty of any vehicle buying experience we've ever had. Jeff Proctor and Brian (parts) & and Brian (service) were true business professionals and were always there for us as well. And Dawn (with the brown hair) was an exceptional saleswoman and put up with all our crazy requests in the Motor clothes section too.
Even though we've only owned two other Harley-Davidsons and can't claim to logging as many miles as most bikers, we have been heavily involved with the H-D lifestyle that comes with ownership for a long time. And I'd like to say that it's all been nothing but good times but there has been heart breaking tragedy and great losses for us too. Thus is the life of a true biker. And For us, riding is primarily a pleasure that we do to bust loose and escape from our cookie cutter 9 to 5 lives spending time enjoying life to the fullest with our biker friends.
As we grew older though and had less and less time for fun, we started to think maybe riding and the lifestyle was just a phase and a part of our life that we were willing to let go of. "In July of 2009, I purchased a new Road King from a dealership close to my home. While on a ride approx. a week ago (June 2010), I had an issue with a switch and lights, which required repair before I could ride again. When I contacted the dealership where I bought my bike, they informed me that the problem would be covered under warranty. I, of course, was happy for that, however, they could not get my bike in for repair until the last week of July. Another dealership, also closer to my home than Chesapeake HD, also could not get my bike in until the first week of August. I informed both dealerships that I had to have my bike for the weekend of July 24 for a pre-planned ride to NY state. Even after explaining that circumstance, neither dealership could help me. I then spoke with a friend who used to work for the 1st dealership in an attempt to get some inside influence. He told me not to bother with that dealership and contact Chesapeake HD. I took his advice and called on July 7. I explained my situation to Kyle from the service dept. telling him about the problem with my bike and also my trip to NY on the 24th. Kyle quickly told me to bring my bike down on Monday July 12th. He said that he would get the work done for me, but I would have to leave the bike at the shop for a couple of days. As I pulled up to the service doors on Monday morning, my truck wasn't even in park yet, and Kyle was standing at the back of the trailer waiting for me, so he could help me get my bike down. Well, let me tell ya, Kyle had my bike off of the trailer in about 2 minutes and was pushing it into the service bay. He took down my information and told me it would be probably Wednesday until the work would be complete. Much to my surprise, Kyle called me at 4:30 Monday afternoon and told me the bike was ready for pick-up. I cannot say enough good about Kyle and Chesapeake HD. They found the secret to success by treating their customers like friends. In closing, I would also like to commend Dave from the sales dept. Dave is a guy who truely enjoys talking with people and shows legitimate interest in the conversation. So, a Beer to Kyle and Dave. Thanks again. "

"This is not only a great dealership, but also a very great group of folks that work there.
Last year I started riding again after over 30 years. My first visit to Chesapeake Harley was on a 150 cc Chinese scooter, but all the folks there were very friendly and treated me as though I had ridden in on an Ultra. Since that time I have traded up to several foreign made bikes, but continued to stop by to admire and drool over all the great Harleys I saw out there, always felt welcome by the attention and conversation of all the staff.
About six weeks ago I decided I really wanted to make the move to a Harley. Thought I wanted a Sportster and started looking around. My first stop was Chesapeake HD, best move I made. They had a beautiful used 2008 Sportster and J.B. rolled it out for me to take a test ride. Thought it was great, but when I returned J.B. gave me some of the best advice I have ever received. He suggested that I might be more comfortable on a Dyna and he had a real nice used one that I could try out. Without his advice I would never have considered a bike that large, weight or cu. in. He rolled it and I took a ride. Within the first 5 miles I new he had steered me to the bike I wanted to own.
I did look around at other dealerships, but found none of the dealerships to be as friendly and helpful as Chesapeake HD, not to mention their prices were also better.
Ended up buying a new 2010 FXDC from Chesapeake HD, great deal, love the bike.

Every time I stop in at the dealership Andy and Jeff always greet me and take time to see how I am and the bike are doing. I have know Mike Nobile for many years and it is always a pleasure to see him and chat for a bit. Brought my bike in last year for 1k service and it was done quickly, correctly and very professionally. Six months later my orginal battery went dead, and it was replaced under warrranty with no problems.I would never dream of taking my bike to any other dealership for service, You got me for life, like it or not. " I started driving the extra miles and yes having to strap on a helmet to get to Chesapeake HD. I have never been so happy with the entire dealership Bob in parts is awesome and he knows his parts and what you need. He does not make a woman feel intimidated if she talks to him. The service department I give 8 stars, they do what you ask and they don't call you and try to sell you something you don't need. They do very quality work and have the bike done when they say it will be. JB is the man to see if you are shopping for a new Harley he is my pick for best salesman. The entire staff from Management to the new guys and gals all make you feel from the minute you walk in to the dealer you are a part of their family. I now live in DE and the ride is even further for me, but I won't take my bike for service anywhere but Chesapeake HD. I even deal with the sales tax (live in a sale tax free state) and buy my parts there because of the excellent service I have gotten. I am also a proud member of Chesapeake's HOG chapter. I can't ever say enough Bob and Linda and the entire Staff at the dealership and the HOG Chapter Officers and members. I have to say JOB WELL DONE !!!!! Keep up the great work "

"I recently brought my 08 Xbones in for safety recall service. Also added new hand grips & shifter peg to this service order. Brian Davies handled my call in appointment, Bob Banks handled parts & Todd Hudson handled recall service / installation. I rode in around 11:30 AM & I was back on the road by 12:45. I usually handle this type of minor installation & routine maintenance my self & I really appreciate the way this work was accomplished in that time frame. It's refreshing to receive this type of friendly,knowledgeable service on a regular basis....this is why I remain, a long time customer! "

"Just thought I would drop a line telling you that both Bob Banks and Bryan Hastings were great to work with all winter long as I was chopping up my 2000 fxst into a bobber this winter. I was there almost every weekend and they were very helpful. Also, JB was great....put a new tire on a new rim and packed the bearing for me in no time at all with no appointment. I will be by on the March 21st to show ya what a FXST bobber looks like. "

"I would like to take a moment to tell you how great the service department was to deal with. I spoke with Bryan on the phone twice and both times he was more then helpful and polite. Then when I came in for my service I met JB. JB was able to get me in for my 1000 mi first service and install a rack on my tour pack in one day. I dropped the bike off at 10am and was riding it home by 3pm. When I first arrived at 10am and pulled up outside to park JB walked right out and had me pull my bike inside on one of the three black carpets. The rest of the time went just as smooth. This is easily the best service I have ever got at a Harley dealer. You've got a customer for life. Thanks a bunch. "

"Something of Importance!
I Just like many other customers have visited many other dealers in the area, and out of the area. (Lancaster, Hannums, Mikes, Smoltz, etc! Etc! ) Basically you are all selling the same thing!
One thing to remind your staff of is that the one thing that will always set you apart is "Good Friendly customer service"! I have walked into dealers and felt very un-comfortable and not welcome. To date I have never felt that way at Chesapeake H-D.
Chesapeake H-D gets all of my business on this bike, I had my 1000mi. service done with no problems and great service, I get my parts and accessories from Big Bob and always get a friendly smile!
Keep up the good work, Always make the customer the priority not the sale, and they will return faithfully forever, and like me they to will spread the word and advertise you great customer service, and this is adverstising you can't put a price on!!
